The Color Purple, the musical about love, opened in Houston last Friday night to a sold out crowd at the Hobby Center. If you were a fan of Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning 1982 novel and Steven Spielberg’s awarded film; the musical adaption written by Marsha Norman is one you will surely come to love.
